She tends to defecate her crate as well. It doesn’t matter if she just went on a long walk and used the restroom…. Seconds after I leave the house she’s making a mess so any blanket, crate bed, toy, bone, etc. gets ruined. How can I prevent this?<br />

She loves her crate when I am home but the second I leave she cries, barks, and goes crazy. When I get back home, how long should I let her cry for before letting her out? I have read that it is best to use a harness with the smaller dogs due to their trachea. Should I still get a slip leash for the training or can a harness be used instead? Please advise, thanks!</p>
