We have had weeks of “Stay at Home” orders that have had us enjoying more time with family and our pets. Many of you took the opportunity to adopt a puppy, bring a new dog into your home, or to work on training that you didn’t have time to get to before. Aren’t our dogs lucky! What downside could possibly come from such quality time? The possibility of separation anxiety when the world starts to open back up.
Hopefully the kids will be back at school and your job will resume soon. Either way, you will be starting to leave your four legged friend again in a few weeks. You dog may or may not panic.
This week’s “Tip of the Week” is designed to help you prepare your pup for your absence. These are just a few simple tips that can make a world of difference to your dog when they are left alone.
